Linda started the business, The Sporty Runner in 1999. She was involved with the “Women Can Run/Walk” training clinics since its inception. As Statewide Clinic Director, she was responsible for introducing thousands of women to running and walking.

Myles
The original Sporty Dog. Myles became a part of the Sporty Runner family on Thanksgiving of 2001. After being rehomed several times, he found his forever home and loved coming to work. We miss you, Myles!
Sammy
Sammy wasn't at the store as much as Myles or Sadie, but when he did, he was always such a good boy. Adopted from the Conway Animal Welfare Unit on Nov 14th, 2001, Sammy was a great companion and friend. Sammy crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Sept 4th, 2015.
Sadie
The Sporty Lady! Sadie is a Yorkipoo who is a familiar sight at The Sporty Runner. She loves meeting our customers and always wants to have her belly rubbed! Sadie is also a blast to watch run the course at agility training!
Bronson
Bronson is the newest four-legged member of the Sporty Runner family. Rescued by Dogs Only from a High Kill shelter, Bronson was adopted into his forever home on Sept 12th, 2015. When not working at the store, he enjoys agility training, hiking, backpacking, and hanging out with his friends at Hounds Hideaway.
